Xzibit's been noticeably absent from the limelight since his popular MTV series, Pimp My Ride, was taken off the air. Now he's appearing on another network, ABC, and helping families in need with repairing their houses.

"It was something I was definitely interested in," Xzibit, born Alvin Nathaniel Joiner, told the Daily News on Wednesday. "I didn't know what I was signing up for; building a house in seven days is something else."
